Despite strengthened legislation and often generous maternity policies only a third of employees find it easy to return to work following maternity leave. Pivotal to a smooth return is the relationship between manager and employee.
This is the first in a series of publications based on the findings of the 2 year research program to understand the experiences of employees, line managers and employers. It summarises the survey results of working mothers and was published through the NCT.
